Attention Physical Therapists seeking their next North Carolina assignment.
A 13-week PT contract is available in Banner Elk. We're looking for a patient-focused clinician who can help long-term-care residents improve mobility, strength, balance and independence.
Assignment Details:- Location:
Banner Elk, North Carolina - Contract length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Variable days
- Shift length: 8 hours
- Setting:
Long-term care - Competitive compensation
- Complete physical therapy evaluations
- Develop individualized plans of care
- Provide therapeutic exercise and functional mobility training
- Support gait, transfer, balance and fall-prevention goals
- Monitor progress and update interventions as needed
- Educate residents and caregivers on safe mobility
- Complete timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate with nursing and rehabilitation professionals
- Participate in care planning and discharge recommendations
- Holds an active North Carolina Physical Therapist license
- Has recent LTC, skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience
- Is comfortable treating adult and geriatric patients
- Can independently manage treatments and documentation
- Is available for the full 13-week contract
