American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience and ARRT(R) and CT registration to support a radiology department performing a wide range of CT procedures.

• 154-bed Duke Lifepoint hospital offering orthopedics, spine, cardiology, general surgery, women's care, ED, and behavioral health services
• Works in the Cat Scan department within Radiology
• Adult, geriatric, and some pediatric patient population
• Patient ratio of 20-30 per tech across two techs
• Uses GE equipment and Paragon EHR
• Shift schedule of Saturday and Sunday 7:00 AM-7:30 PM, and Monday 8:30 AM-9:00 PM
• On-call required a couple of nights per week, rotated among techs
• May float to MRI when possible

• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• ARRT(R) and CT registration required
• License required if applicable
• Must be able to perform CT procedures such as biopsy, drainage, Coronary CTA, and nerve root blocks, or at least perform fluoro on the CT machine
• MRI experience preferred

• Facility is Joint Commission accredited and includes a Chest Pain Center
• Located in Clyde, NC, about 20 miles from Asheville and near the Great Smoky Mountains National Park
• Black scrubs required; t-shirts and hoodies not permitted
• Bi-weekly orientation schedule
• Candidates must live 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for travel assignment
• Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full-time
