The Arbor Company is hiring an Activities Assistant to join our Memory Care team! In this role, you'll help create engaging experiences that enrich the lives of our residents while making a lasting difference each day.

Important Position Requirements:

• Memory Care Experience

  Previous experience working with individuals living with Alzheimer's disease or other forms of dementia is essential.

• Weekend Availability
  
  Required:
  
  Candidates must be available to work weekends or every other weekend.

• A compassionate, patient, and creative approach to supporting residents with memory loss.

• Plan and lead engaging, dementia-friendly activities that promote cognitive stimulation, social interaction, and emotional well-being.

• Create meaningful experiences tailored to residents' individual interests, abilities, and stages of memory loss.

• Support our six-dimensional engagement program through creative, purposeful programming.

• Build genuine relationships with residents and their families, helping each resident feel valued and connected.

• Adapt activities to accommodate varying cognitive and physical abilities.

• Collaborate with the Memory Care team to create a positive, supportive, and engaging environment.

• Bring energy, creativity, compassion, and enthusiasm to each workday!

• Required: Previous experience working with seniors living with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or other memory-related conditions.

• Required: Availability to work weekends or every other weekend.

• Experience in senior living, Memory Care, activities programming, caregiving, or a related field.

• Strong communication skills, patience, empathy, and the ability to connect with residents experiencing cognitive changes.

• A creative personality and passion for planning activities that bring happiness and purpose to others.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-focused environment.
