Location: Ahoskie
ECU Health Physicians and ECU Health Immediate Care - Ahoskie are seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide immediate care in their outpatient clinic. New graduates are welcome to apply.
Opportunity highlights:- Employment by ECU Health Physicians
- Support from nearby ECU Health Roanoke-Chowan Hospital
- Ability to live in close proximity to Tidewater, Virginia Area
- 100% outpatient
- Clinical responsibilities will include being sole provider in an immediate care setting
- Schedule rotating clinical 4-day workweek 8am-6pm
- No call – No weekends
- Procedures will include minor suturing, joint injections, splinting/mobilizing/sprains, as well as comfortably treating infants to geriatric
- Average of 24 patients a day
- System-wide integrated EMR—EPIC
- ACLS and BLS certifications from the American Heart Association are required
