Our client, a reputable organization in the hospitality industry, is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping professional to join their team. As a Housekeeping team member, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, welcoming, and comfortable environment for guests and staff alike. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, a proactive attitude, and excellent communication skills, aligning seamlessly with the organization’s commitment to quality service and teamwork.
Job Title: 2nd shift Laundry Attendant
Pay Range: $16 + DOE
Shift: HOURS 2PM-10PM
*** WILL NEED TO TRAIN 8-4 FOR 2 WEEKS THEN THE 2PM - 10PM WILL TAKE EFFECT
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and package linens, towels, and other laundry items
- Inspect linens for stains, damage, or excessive wear
- Treat stained items and follow proper laundering procedures
- Organize and maintain linen inventory
- Prepare and distribute clean linens for housekeeping teams
- Keep laundry facility clean, organized, and stocked with supplies
- Operate commercial washers, dryers, and laundry equipment safely
- Assist with tracking inventory and reporting supply needs
- Follow all safety, cleaning, and quality standards
- Support housekeeping operations as needed
- Previous laundry, housekeeping, hotel, or cleaning experience preferred but not required
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand, bend, push, and pull for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Reliable transportation and attendance
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Commercial laundry facility setting
- Frequent standing, walking, lifting, and repetitive motion
- Exposure to cleaning products, heat from dryers, and varying workloads during peak rental seasons
- 2nd Shift
- Evening hours
- Weekends and holidays required
