Executive Recruiter - Accounting & Finance - Business Development - Big 4 CPA & F500 background

The ideal candidate will act as an employee champion and a leader of change. You will plan, develop, organize, implement, direct and evaluate the organization's human resource function and performance. A successful candidate will have strong experience performing HR work at both the strategic level, as well as at the day to day operational level, and be able to pivot between the two with relative ease.

Reports directly to the company COO.

Responsibilities

  • Provide overall leadership and guidance by overseeing / performing talent acquisition, employee career development, succession planning, retention programs, training and leadership development, and safety / OSHA compliance
  • Perform an assessment and gap analysis of the HR infrastructure (processes, workflows, policies, etc.) currently in place vs best practices, prepare an improvement plan for any findings, execute the plan, and document key HR processes
  • Process and validate timesheets of hourly staff for payroll processing
  • Function as a strategic, human capital business advisor to the senior management team
  • Develop initiatives, policies and programs to complement existing practices and create consistency across the organization and stabilize any areas of employee turnover higher than industry average
  • Oversee benefit and compensation plans to ensure cost efficiencies and attractiveness to retain top talent

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in human resources or management
  • 7+ years' of professional HR experience with a combination of corporate and operational experience preferred
  • 2+ years of experience working on site at a manufacturing company
  • SHRM certified preferred
  • Experience with staff who are paid hourly is preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
