Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic HR Specialist to join our team on the 3rd shift (11 PM - 8 AM). This role is crucial in managing HR functions during the night shift operations of our Manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and sometimes chaotic environment.

This position offers an excellent opportunity for growth, with the strong potential to be promoted to Management level within three years.

Base pay range

$70,000.00/yr - $/yr

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary HR representative on the 3rd shift, overseeing all HR functions and employee relations.
  • Manage employee engagement initiatives and foster a positive workplace culture.
  • Handle employee relations issues, including investigations, conflict resolution, and performance management.
  • Collaborate with management to influence change and improve HR processes.
  • Conduct new hire orientations and ensure a smooth onboarding experience for all employees.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
  • Support the HR team with administrative tasks, including reporting and documentation.
  • Act as a liaison between employees and management, ensuring effective communication and support.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in HR, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
  • Strong emotional intelligence and the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven experience in employee relations, conflict resolution, and conducting investigations.
  • High energy and resilience, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • PHR or SPHR certification is a plus.
Compensation
  • Competitive salary range of $70,000 - $100,000, based on experience and qualifications.
