- Guide, coach, and mentor data team members, creating opportunities for professional development and supporting the advancement of technical and analytical skills across the team.
- Coordinate and monitor daily activities related to data acquisition, validation, management, and analysis, ensuring alignment with regional and organizational priorities.
- Oversee the allocation and prioritization of stages and activities, ensuring efficient workflow and balanced distribution of responsibilities to meet organizational objectives and deadlines.
- Promote ongoing learning by organizing training sessions, developing documentation, and encouraging the sharing of insights, lessons learned, and innovative approaches among team members.
- Enforce standards and best practices for data processing, management, and reporting to maintain high levels of accuracy and reliability.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the data team and other departments, facilitating communication and collaboration to support business goals and initiatives.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in data science, information management, business analytics, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certification preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in data processing, data management, or data analytics roles.
- At least 5 years of experience in a supervisory or team lead capacity.
- Demonstrated expertise in data management tools and methodologies including GIS.
- Strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.
- Experience implementing best practices for professional development and workload prioritization.
- Willingness and ability to travel by car and/or air 2–3 weeks (~10 days) per year for meetings.
$70,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
