General Manager

Lead the overall operation of our unit at Huddle House. Drive sales, build a high‑performing team, and maintain the highest standards of customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Develop overall strategy to meet business objectives and sales goals.
  • Maintain the highest standard of customer service in the unit.
  • Communicate unit objectives with staff and follow through to completion.
  • Proactively seek out sales opportunities and establish business relationships through phone calls, physical interactions, and driving when necessary.
  • Ensure a safe working environment, including maintaining HAACP and Board of Health protocols.
  • Develop assistant management to effectively manage sales, costs, quality and people basics.
  • Recruit and retain appropriately skilled staff for restaurant and catering/banquet events.
  • Positively impact the unit through demonstrated creativity in developing and implementing strategic initiatives.
  • Appropriately schedule staff for forecasted sales.
  • Audit internal processes and adjust as needed to complete assigned operational goals.
  • Manage employee relations issues to ensure a harmonious work environment for all staff.
  • Support District General Manager in effectively communicating issues, concerns, and special needs/projects and day‑to‑day business of the unit.
  • Fill in wherever necessary to move the line faster, assist in delivering product and serving food to customers.
  • Make deposits at the bank.
Position Requirements
  • Strong leadership and hands‑on experience managing a restaurant unit.
  • Experience driving sales, cost control, quality standards and people management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, talk, carry, bend, stoop, turn, and lift > 35 pounds; regular computer use.
  • Team lift required for lifts > 25 pounds.
Location & Salary

Franklin, NC $18,000.00 – $60,000.00
