In the role of Field Finance Manager, you will have the opportunity to:
- Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him
- Supervise Finance Coordinators and Specialists as assigned.
- Develop and implement training programs for Samaritan's Purse staff regarding financial policies, procedures, and operational guidelines for mostly domestic operations.
- Assist in the design and implementation of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems at headquarters and in the field.
- Identify areas of improvement. Develop, implement, monitor, and assess financial policies, procedures, systems, and operating guidelines for North American Disaster Response and Rebuild operations.
- Travel to field sites as needed for temporarily assigned field responsibility, to ensure proper accounting, to perform informal audits, to consult with, advise, and train every level of management and finance staff on field finance matters, or to perform other work assigned.
- Monitors the financial function of field operations to ensure compliance with the policies and procedures of Samaritan's Purse and funding agencies.
- Collaborate with North American Disaster Relief and Rebuild staff to ensure project budgets, modifications, reports, and invoices are reviewed.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of North American Disaster Response and Rebuild financial operations and activities in order to respond to general inquiries.
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or five to seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with ERP implementation, with familiarity with People Soft preferred. Proficiency in MS Excel and Outlook required. A CPA or an MBA is beneficial, but not required. Twelve credit hours of college-level Biblical studies strongly preferred.

- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
