Quality Tester - 1st shift

This Position reports to:

Job Advert

• Inspect and troubleshoot any defects or discrepancies in conformity.
• Assist other QC Personnel, Operators, Assemblers, etc. when quality questions arise.
• Perform inspections using measurement tooling (calipers, gauges, meters, etc.).
• Train other employees.
• Inspect, examine, and observe for product or equipment defects.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• Minimum 1 year experience in quality.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in manufacturing environment, assembly or casting preferred.
• Desired experience in SAP and Windchill.
• Ability to work with teams and deliver feedback to operators concerning identified issues.
• Experience using computers Microsoft office apps like Excel, Word and web applications.
• Ability and willingness to read and interpret technical drawings and models.
• Skilled in using tools, such as a screwdriver, crimper, and air gun. Good written and oral communication skills.
• Ability and willingness to climb ladders, stand/walk for long periods of time.
• Understand and carry out oral and written instructions.
• Work alongside as a member of a team with initiative, teamwork, flexibility & attention to detail.
• Candidates must already have a work authorization that allows them to work for ABB in the United States.
