Job Summary: The Associate Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes and supporting production operations. This role involves project management, tooling inventory control, and cost estimation to improve efficiency and reduce expenses.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and improve manufacturing methods.
- Provide engineering support to business/production units.
- Developing, managing, and coordinating projects and team activities.
- Manage perishable tooling inventory.
- Estimate production times and related costs.
- Test and evaluate perishable tooling to provide cost savings.
- BSME, BSMET, or BSMEE required.
- Gathering and analyzing information skillfully and developing solutions.
- Increasing productivity and improving quality.
- Leading efforts to build a continuous improvement culture.
- Achieving monthly and annual goals.
- Solid analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Proficient with Excel software.
- Experience with SAP software systems.
- Experience with set‑up reduction techniques.
- CNC programming.
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
- Managing finances within budget.
- Providing leadership in maintaining union‑free status.
- Following policies and procedures to support organization’s goals and values.
- Creating and maintaining a clean, safe, working environment.
- Routinely lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and depth perception.
- Routinely reach with hands and arms to handle or feel.
- Frequently required to stand and walk.
- Occasionally required to sit, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
