Castline Bandsaw Operator - Multiple Openings

We are looking for a Castline Bandsaw Operator who will report to the Operations Supervisor via the Castline Team Lead, who’ll be tasked with helping to run our castlines. As part of your role, you’ll be a significant contributor to BRP‑Spruce Pine’s manufacturing operation.

You’ll Have The Opportunity To

• Operate a vertical bandsaw station degating aluminum castings as per quality specifications
• Use a hoist to move aluminum casting clusters around the work area
• Maintain related equipment to ensure proper functioning, including furnace cleaning
• Learn the castline operational process to prepare for department growth and future opportunities
• Maintain run‑at‑rate with fill station
• Work with quality team to obtain first‑part approvals
• Adhere to standards to ensure the production of high‑quality parts
• Follow established safety rules
• Identify and follow process sheets

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred
• Technically and mechanically‑inclined
• Conceptual skills
• High degree of physical stamina — candidates must be able to lift/move up to 50 pounds
• Inclination to process improvement
• Self‑motivated
• Able to effectively follow written and verbal processes
