Quality Control / Manager, Quality Technician/ Inspector

rimary Duties and Responsibilities /p
Responsibilities include, but not limited to the following: /p ul liParticipate in the quality sampling systems and procedures to ensure that all required test samples are obtained and prepared for testing. Prepare samples to the specific required sizes for testing utilizing a miter saw, table saw, drill press, and planer. /li liResponsible for assisting manufacturing in the monitoring and assuring of product quality.
/li liRoutinely tests product characteristics, in process and post production. Graphs, analyzes, records and reports meaningful information from these tests. /li liPromptly reports results of audits/tests/analyses to the appropriate individual; advising whether or not the results are acceptable. /li liAdvises production and quality management of observed trends in quality parameters. /li liSupports maintaining and updating test records. Includes data entry of test results into the required databases.
/li liParticipate in the evaluation and initiation of actions to improve quality performance. /li liOther duties may be assigned. /li /ul dditional Duties and Responsibilities ul liMust work overtime, holidays and weekends as scheduled. /li /ul equired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities ul liBasic metrology skills with test equipment /li liReasonable computer skills, especially Microsoft Office/Excel /li liMust have basic math skills /li liReasonable interpersonal, skills /li liAble to work as a team member with a diverse workforce /li /ul ducation/Experience ul liHigh school diploma or GED /li liMust pass the Quality Skills test /li liAbility to read and write /li liExperience using computers and Excel /li liIndustrial manufacturing experience preferred /li liASQ CQT certification preferred /li /ul ompany Description pFortune Brands Innovations, Inc.
