The Production Associate 2 employee at Cornerstone Building Brands Aperture Solutions is responsible for various windows & doors assembly operations while ensuring we safely make a quality product and minimize waste/cost, so it can be delivered on time to customers. Also, responsible for working with a sense of urgency while maintaining the flow of material throughout the plant by performing the following duties.

• Operate hand tools as required and assemble, lift, pick and pack products.
• Support and participate in Employee Engagement activities.

• Must follow and work to an established rate as defined by customer demand and standardized operations.

• Ability to read a tape measure and interpret fractions and decimals.
• Minimum word and number recognition/visual cues.
• Operate power tools with dexterity, basic operations, and know when to change PPE.
• Identify hazards while understanding station safety protocols.
• Knowledge of measurement standards and tolerances.
• Follow instruction and standard work while frequently referencing standard work instructions.
• Knowledge of product defects specific to your workstation.
• Quality recognition in station quality requirements/CTQ.

• Time management and awareness of cycle times.
• Perform basic math (addition, subtraction, fractions, decimals).
• Interface with a computer system by accessing, navigating, and identifying files.
• Stand for 8 to 10 hours using good posture and repetitive motion.

• Profile recognition: ability to recognize shapes and compare to sample drawings.
• Monitor inventory by adhering to min‑max levels (WIP) and utilizing scrap.
• Record keeping: accurate, timely, legible.
• Wear required PPE – metatarsal shoes, arm guards, ear protection, and safety glasses.
• Dependability, punctuality & detail oriented.
• High school diploma is preferred.
• Ability to bend, squat, twist, push/pull, reach and stand.
• Ability to consistently lift at least 50 pounds for 8 to 12 hours a day.

• Willing to work extended hours and weekends based on business needs.
• Willing & able to work various positions in various departments (cross‑trained).
• Perform tasks requiring repetitive motion and standing for long periods.
