Quality Manager oversees quality control and testing processes at our textile yarn manufacturing facility. This individual ensures yarn products meet stringent quality standards, identifies and resolves quality issues, and drives continuous improvement in production processes.

• Quality Oversight: Develop, implement, and maintain quality control standards for yarn manufacturing processes.
• Oversee multiple laboratory operations, ensuring testing procedures are consistent and accurate.
• Manage a team of lab technicians and quality personnel, providing guidance and support.
• Supervise and conduct lab tests (tensile strength, elongation, yarn count, twist, moisture content) to evaluate raw materials, in-process yarn, and finished products.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of test results, addressing discrepancies or non-conformance issues.
• Lead continuous improvements to testing methods and equipment.
• Process Control & Improvement: Collaborate with production teams to set quality standards and identify root causes of quality issues.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections of manufacturing processes.
• Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze data from production, testing, and quality reports to identify trends and risks.
• Prepare and present regular quality reports to management.
• Training & Development: Develop and conduct training programs for production staff and lab technicians.
• Promote a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement.
• Stay current with industry advancements and best practices.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, or related field.
• Certifications in quality management or Six Sigma (e.g., Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt) preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management within textile manufacturing, focus on yarn production and lab testing.
• Proven experience managing laboratory operations, quality audits, and process improvement initiatives.
• Strong understanding of yarn manufacturing processes, including spinning, winding, and packaging.
• Knowledge of textile testing methods and equipment (tensile testers, yarn evenness testers, moisture meters).
• Expertise in root cause analysis, problem-solving, and troubleshooting.
• Data analysis skills and experience with statistical process control (SPC).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented, with commitment to high quality standards.
• Other Requirements: Ability to work in a manufacturing plant environment with exposure to machinery, chemicals, and noise.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and quality management software.
