Position: ROARING RIVER FEED MILL: 2nd Shift PART-TIME Utility/Ingredient Rail Operator FM03U
Location: Roaring Riverjob details
pay is $18.20 per hour plus an additional $2.00 per hour shift differential.
Schedule:
friday through monday 2pm to 9pm. Weekend (6 & 7 day) work required, as needed. Must be able to understand labels, read recipes, follow instructions, and communicate effectively. Must have 6 months work history in the last 12 months documented within your application’s work history and/or resume. Can be a combination of employers as long as it is within the past 12 months or your application will not be reviewed.
* candidates that have worked for tyson foods or tyson affiliates 3 or more times will not be eligible for rehire.
* rehires are subject to a 91 day wait period. Must perform other duties as tasked by administration.
team member responsibilities
ability to operate a locomotive/track mobile to move rail cars by following established procedures and/or specifications. Work and perform all the functions of the control room panel
-batching operator.ability to coordinate activities such as switching cars from one track to another, coupling railcars together, and/or clearances.ability to handle switches and hand brakes in accordance with company programs.ability to walk the length of the track to monitor track conditions and report any irregularities to management.ability to accurately record data/dispatchability be able to operate scales and document incoming ingredients through the ticketing systemability to operate equipment to unload feed ingredients and route to appropriate storage siloability to obtain and run quality analysis on required incoming ingredientsability to lift and use hand tools to assist in unloading of ingredientsability to perform minor maintenance duties using hand toolsability to work in hot, dry, dusty, wet and cold environments. Heavy exposure to ingredient dust and inclement weather.ability to work holidays, weekends, and flexible hours as required based on demand schedulingability to work in elevated areas and follow all safety proceduresable to sign and abide by the company biosecurity guidelines including an agreement to avoid any avian speciesmaintain good housekeeping including service areas and grounds keeping.communicate to all levels of operations including customers and vendors both orally and in writing where requiredfollow and operate within all tyson health and safety protocolsable to lift up to 60 lbs. And/or up to 100 lbs with assistancestand, sit, walk, climb ladder/stairs with the ability to sustain physical activity throughout the day.complete all other tasks assigned by management.relocation assistance
