* ** Duties/Responsibilities:
*** Communicates with all knitting personal on machine performance issues.
* Documents issues on the “white communication board”.
* Informs Master Technician, Head Technician or Manager of any parts on-hand issues.
* Review the machine’s LCD to evaluate production and stops to determine potential issues.
* Communicates yarn performance issues to the Manager.
* Participates in shift meetings.
* Performs weekly machine maintenance on assigned machines to meet expectations per the audit conducted by the Master Technician, Head Technician or Manager.
* Performs style and size changes within capabilities.
* Makes repairs and replaces parts per capabilities.
* Re-needle and sinker the knitting machines as needed.
* Helps out with Knitter, Senior Inspector or Inspector duties as needed.
* Keeps work areas clean.
* Other duties and projects as assigned.
** Qualification Requirements:
*** High School or equivalent required
* 2-3 years minimum experience required in circular knitting environment
* Knowledge of Circular Knitting Machines to include Lonati and Santoni
* Ability to work any shift and overtime as needed
* Ability to work with little or no direct supervision
