Customer Service, Vendor Relations and Marketing Associate
You’re responsible for marketing at Golden Needle. You effectively demonstrate our value to our customers and vendor partners. You love telling our story and describing our core values. You work with other leadership to set goals, make plans to meet them, and then execute those plans, adapting as needed. You are self‑directed and comfortable dealing with uncertainty, drawing on your resourcefulness and ability to learn quickly as well as your teammates for help.
As we are a small team in a rapidly changing industry, we need you to understand, decide, and lead your own projects; in other words, we want you to tell us what marketing activities we need to do and why!
- Continuously learn who our customers are, what they want, and how to best communicate with them
- Maintain and develop relationships with vendors to negotiate mutually beneficial sales and education campaigns, for example, digital and print ads, publicity events, special‑edition products, trade show collaborations, webinars, staff trainings, and more
- Set strategic goals with other leadership, such as revenue, growth, customer acquisition, retention, and engagement
- Measure and report on goals and make changes to ensure future success
- Define and enhance the Golden Needle brand: who are we, how do we do what we do, and why? Refine and communicate these messages internally and externally
- Identify professional development opportunities to promote (such as continuing education and trade shows)
- Coordinate trade shows and attend as needed
- Own the Golden Needle content creation process and schedule from topic selection to review to publishing
- Assist Customer Service team as needed
- Strategic account management
- Brand management
- Multimedia content creation and curation (text, image, video)
- Social media marketing
