Childrens Pastor​/Director

The purpose of the Children’s Pastor/Director position is to provide general oversight for the spiritual, emotional, and relational development of children, and their respective families. The job responsibilities are as follows.

• Leadership - This person must be competent in giving direction for their ministry and coaching for the other staff working alongside them. This person must have a solid cultural understanding of the children of this time, a good sense of how to minister to them, and a clear path of the specifics in how this will be accomplished. The person must also be able to train and equip lay volunteers.
• Administration - This person must be able to oversee the ministry with excellence. Clarity, communication, and attention to details are a must in order to be successful. Through personal oversight, and timely delegation, this department should run smoothly, efficiently and successfully.
• Work Ethic - This person must possess a strong work ethic, coupled with a great passion for children.
• Teaching/Preaching - This person must be competent in communicating with children, in a way that they can understand the message given.
• Family Care - This person will also need to focus time on ministering to the families of the children, helping parents understand how to best minister to their specific child.
• Team Player - This person must be committed to maintaining harmony and joy in the workplace environment, living selflessly toward others on the team.
• Personal Devotion - This person must be personally committed to Jesus Christ, living a life that is honorable toward the church, others, and the Lord Himself.
