Registered Nurse (RN) - Med/Surg

Schedule:
3x12s, Day Shift (7a-7p), Rotating Weekends. $15,000 Sign-On Bonus for Day Shift with a 2-year commitment.
- Provide compassionate care to patients in a 39-bed Medical-Surgical unit.
- Accurately perform patient assessments and identify patient needs.
- Identify and initiate appropriate nursing interventions.
- Deliver care appropriate to the condition and age of the patient.
- Perform timely and accurate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record.
- Be responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
- Perform timely and accurate quality improvement (QI) assessments.
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of North Carolina or from a compact state.
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
- AHA ACLS and PALS required within six months of hire.
- One year of experience preferred.
- Ability to think critically, exercise decisive judgment, and work with minimal supervision in a stressful environment.
