Emergency Room RN – Travel Nurse
We’re looking for Emergency Room RNs for an immediate travel nurse opening in Marion, NC. The right RN should have 1-2 years recent acute care experience.
Responsibilities- Appropriately evaluate, triage, and implement care using correct procedures and physician instructions.
- Perform minor medical operations, advise patients and family on illnesses or injuries, and plan long-term care needs.
- Document medical history, check for allergies, obtain vital signs, and monitor patients' emotional and physical well‑being.
- Perform basic bedside care.
- Clean and bandage wounds.
- Provide IV therapy.
- Maintain supplies and medical equipment.
- Report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies.
- ACLS, BLS, PALS, CPI, NIH certification, minimum 1 year acute care experience.
- Ability to stand, walk for long periods, lift up to 20 pounds, and occasionally 50 pounds.
- Strong stress‑coping skills and ability to relate to people of all ages and backgrounds.
