Registered Nurse (RN), Swain ED - PRN

Schedule:

12‑hour shifts, PRN‑as needed.

Location:

Swain Community Hospital, part of Lifepoint Health®.

• Accurately perform patient assessments and identify patient needs.
• Identify and initiate appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provide care appropriate to patient condition and age.
• Perform timely and accurate documentation of medical necessity in the record.
• Complete and revise the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
• Perform timely and accurate QI assessments.

• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of North Carolina or from a compact state.
• AHA Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire.
• AHA ACLS and PALS certifications required within six months of hire.
• One year of RN experience preferred.
• Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, ability to work with minimal supervision in a stressful environment.
