Urgent Care Physician

Specialty accepted: Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Start date or shifts: January - March
Daily schedule: Rotating 36-hour schedule consisting of three 12-hour shifts per week;
Sunday 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, Monday-Friday 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, Saturday 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Practice setting: Urgent Care
Types of procedures: Foreign body removal, suturing, incision & drainage, and casting/DME fitting
Number of patients: 35-40 per day
Ages: All ages
Additional information: Outpatient only; no call required. BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required. Coverage needed for January through March. Providers must be able to see all ages and complete a one-day orientation prior to starting. Roanoke Rapids offers small-town comfort near waterways and outdoor recreation.
