Job Description
Eventus Whole Health delivers an integrated model of care to adults residing in skilled nursing and assisted living facilities through a network of healthcare providers, including Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, Medical Assistants, and in-house Support Staff.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Provide primary-care services in accordance with site-specific protocols and the standard of care for family medicine, geriatric medicine, and/or internal medicine related to long-term care facilities.
- Quality/Compliance: Review and sign MARs, sign all orders specific to Primary Care within 24 hours, manage labs and narcotic prescriptions per policy, and provide administrative documentation within specified time frames.
- Maintain open communication with facility staff and administration, providing instructions and feedback as needed. Meet with facility care coordinators daily.
- Adhere to Eventus Whole Health standards, policies, procedures, and all legal and regulatory requirements, including HIPAA compliance.
- Maintain patient confidentiality at all times, including proper use of communication tools and documentation.
- Consult with the clinical supervisor before refusing resident care requests.
Education:
- Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution and a valid license to practice medicine in your state, along with current certifications.
- Or, graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program, passing the national certification exam, licensed as a Physician Assistant in your state, with preferred specialization in geriatrics, family, or psychiatry.
