Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services invites applications for the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position at Golden Years Nursing Home, located in Fayetteville, North Carolina.

• Assists in directing nursing services for the unit/hall in accordance with the Nursing Practice Act, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Delegates duties to professional nurses and non‑professional nursing personnel and monitors work performance under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Observes patients for symptoms or reactions, monitoring general physical and mental condition for signs of adverse change.
• Assists with notifying the attending physician of emergencies and the death of patients in the unit, and implements changes in orders as instructed or ordered by physicians.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• High school graduate.
• Licensed Practical Nurse, graduated from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current, valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing; submit proof of license renewal every two years.
• Willing to work as a charge nurse and respond during emergencies to assure adequate coverage.
• Ability to provide quality nursing care to patients, follow doctors’ orders, and have a genuine interest in geriatric nursing.
• CPR certified yearly.
• Attend in‑service training and other staff meetings as required.
