Overview
Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist seeks a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join the Outpatient Anesthesia Team in Winston-Salem, NC. This is a full-time, benefits-eligible position in the Outpatient department within the Department of Anesthesiology at WFBMC Main.

As a CRNA, you will play a key role in team-focused patient care, providing anesthesia using safe and quality techniques during outpatient procedures. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Potential for and encouraged to precept Student Nurse Anesthetists (mentoring and assessing students).
- Use medical decision-making skills to determine appropriate patient care plans to ensure peri-operative and anesthesia care, sensitive to co-morbidities and age/developmental guidelines.
- Collaborate with the medical team for effective team-based care; uphold patient safety, drive quality improvement, and promote infection prevention within job responsibilities and initiatives.
- Document and maintain patient records in compliance with hospital standards, ensuring confidentiality.
- Maintain scheduling flexibility, readiness, and punctuality to deliver timely patient care.
- Exhibit professionalism through teamwork, collaboration, and ongoing professional development.
- Contribute to cost containment by conserving resources.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
The clinician functions under regulatory mandates from the North Carolina Medical Board or North Carolina Board of Nursing with department-specific credentialing from the institution.
CRNA Requirements- Graduation from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program;
Master’s Degree or higher required. - Registered Nurse licensure from the North Carolina Board of Nursing plus current board certification/recertification as a Nurse Anesthetist by the National Board.
- Current CPR Certification – ACLS, BLS.
- Ability to demonstrate clinical competency within the scope of granted privileges.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse clinical teams.

Pay Range$97.75 - $156.40 hourly
