Position Overview
Registered Nurse (RN) at a state correctional facility in Maury, North Carolina.
Health Advocates Network is seeking an RN to provide professional nursing care in this role.
Pay & BenefitsPay Rate: $55 per hour
Employment Type: Full-time
Shifts Available: 12:00 PM – 10:30 PM
Minimum Requirements- At least one year (12 months) of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- A valid and current RN license issued by the State of North Carolina.
- A valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association).
- Proficiency in the English language for communication with staff and patients (oral and written).
- Provide professional nursing care/treatment to patients in accordance with medical protocols, written policies and procedures, and the NC Board of Nursing scope of practice.
- Conduct sick call/assessment.
- Assist the physician.
- Carry out orders, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
- Respond to medical emergencies.
- Monitor patients for communicable diseases.
- Counsel patients for compliance with diet, medications, and treatment.
- Respond to inquiries, manage medical appointments, order medications and supplies, and perform additional nursing care duties as required.
