Clinical Assistant - CMA​/LPN​/RN - Lake Gaston

Rural Health Group, a multi-location Community Health Center in northeastern North Carolina, is seeking a CMA, LPN, or RN for a full-time position at our outpatient primary care clinics located at our Lake Gaston Office in Littleton, NC.

Requirements:

• Must be a Certified MA or hold an active North Carolina LPN or RN license.
• CNA applicants or MAs who are not yet certified will not be considered.
• Hours are generally Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00/5:30 pm.

Starting rates:

• CMA - $19/hr
• LPN - $23/hr
• RN - $30/hr

Core Competencies:

Preferred clinical skills and experience include:

• Phlebotomy
• Equipment usage (EKG, Clinitek, Hemoglobin)
• Good documentation skills
• Tracking and maintaining medical data
• Immunizations (adult and pediatric)
• Injections
• IV therapy
• Understanding disease management for patient education under provider guidance

Minimum requirements:

• Outpatient physician office experience preferred
• Active North Carolina LPN or RN license, or MA Certification/Registration
• Expanded nurse role experience preferred
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a potentially stressful environment
• Good judgment in responsibilities
• Professional, pleasant demeanor; excellent customer service skills
• Ability to establish positive relationships with patients, staff, and providers
• Knowledge of office equipment and Microsoft Office
• Basic computer skills; ability to learn eClinical
  
  Works EHR system quickly
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus; translation capacity may require a language assessment
