Registered Nurse PCU

Role Overview: This position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU), responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with medical providers. The RN assesses patient conditions, performs procedures, administers medications, and documents care accurately. They serve as patient advocates to ensure an exceptional experience.

• Assess patient status during admission and shifts, reporting changes promptly.
• Perform medical procedures and follow provider orders.
• Administer medications and monitor responses.
• Maintain thorough documentation of care and procedures.

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (or enrolled in a program to obtain one within five years).
• Current RN license with the appropriate state board; BLS certification.
• Minimum of one year nursing experience; preferred certifications in specialty areas.
• Knowledge of cardiac and medical-surgical care, medications, procedures, and equipment.
