American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position on night shift, requiring BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications.
Requirements- Active RN license (NC or Compact) currently in hand
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS
- Minimum 1 year of ER nursing experience required
- Skilled in IV administration, critical care, and drips
- ER and critical care experience preferred
- Work in a freestanding Emergency Department with 11 beds
- Patient ratio of 4:1
- Night shift schedule (7p-7a)
- Rotating weekend requirements
- No on-call responsibilities
- Rare floating to Henderson ED
- Uses Paragon EHR
- Facility is a Joint Commission accredited Duke Lifepoint Hospital with an 'A' Leap Frog Hospital Safety Rating
- Region's largest and most comprehensive ED with an advanced ICU and PCU
- Must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for travel assignment
- Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
- Cannot be employed elsewhere full time while on assignment
