Eastern Shore Animal Hospital is seeking an Urgent Care Veterinary Technician or Assistant to join our dedicated staff in North Carolina’s beautiful Outer Banks.

Education and Experience:

• Experience working in a veterinary emergency or critical care setting.
• Strong understanding of veterinary emergency procedures, patient handling, and basic medical terminology.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact with the veterinary team and pet owners in a professional and compassionate manner.
• Demonstrated care and empathy for canine and feline patients, providing comfort and reassurance to patients in distress.
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail to accurately report patient behavior and condition to the veterinary team.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Successful completion of the Veterinary Tech National Exam and Registered in North Carolina highly preferred.
• At least 1-year surgery and/or anesthesia related experience.
