Veterinary Assistant – Brunswick Animal Hospital

Schedule- Monday–Friday: 7:45 AM – 5:30 PM
- One weekday off each week
- Every other Saturday: 7:45 AM – 12:30 PM
- $15 – $18 per hour, depending on experience
- Provide excellent communication and client service.
- Run exam rooms: gather patient history, discuss vaccines, triage, review preventive care.
- Explain core vs. lifestyle vaccines and vaccine protocols.
- Assist with sample collection, treatments, and restraint.
- Perform or assist with venipuncture (training provided).
- Understand medical terminology, medications, preventatives, and early‑detection bloodwork.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, team‑driven attitude.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, vaccines, medications, and patient care.
- Willingness to learn and grow.
- Positive, dependable, and compassionate.
