Assistant Quality Supervisor - Nights (B & D Shift)
How Will You Make an Impact?
As an Assistant Quality Supervisor at our Asheville, NC facility
, you will oversee and coordinate quality assurance activities on your assigned shift. You’ll supervise Quality Inspectors and Quality Technicians, ensuring compliance with procedures, driving quality awareness, and supporting audits and corrective actions. Your leadership will help maintain high standards of product quality and regulatory compliance while fostering a “quality-first” culture.
Location: This role is based on-site at our Asheville, NC facility.
What Will You Do?- Deploy manpower to support quality inspection and production schedule commitments.
- Train and evaluate inspection and audit functions.
- Support and coordinate regulatory and internal audit activities.
- Perform line audits and ensure compliance with procedures.
- Drive quality awareness among production supervisors and support functions.
- Communicate effectively with Quality Engineers regarding OBA issues requiring escalation or additional resources.
- Provide timely and accurate communication of quality data and audit results.
- Educate manufacturing personnel on specifications and quality policies.
- Promote a “quality-first” mentality across the team.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
This position is shift-based and Workcell-focused, supervising Quality Inspectors and Quality Technicians on the assigned shift.
How Will You Get Here?- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards required.
- 2–3 years of experience in a related field.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Or a combination of education, experience, and/or training.
- Strong understanding of quality assurance processes and compliance requirements.
- Ability to interpret specifications and quality policies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and email systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
