Position Summary

This full-time Quality Control Laboratory Technician role is responsible for sampling materials and performing physical and analytical testing to support routine production activities. The position also supports non-routine testing, troubleshooting, and quality issue resolution to ensure products meet required specifications and regulatory standards.

Job Description

Under the direction of the QC Supervisor, the QC Laboratory Technician performs laboratory testing, instrument calibration, verification, and documentation to support quality processes. The role involves working closely with production to resolve product quality issues, applying problem-solving techniques, and supporting compliance with regulatory, environmental, and company quality systems.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Perform laboratory sampling and physical/analytical testing to support production
  • Calibrate, verify, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments to maintain quality standards
  • Assist production teams with quality investigations and root cause analysis
  • Maintain documentation and comply with regulatory, environmental, and company quality policies
  • Perform additional lab or quality tasks as assigned

Education & Other Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred (but not required)
  • 1–2+ years of laboratory experience preferred (plastics/color industry ideal)
  • Experience in ISO-regulated environments preferred
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and meet testing schedules
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Flexibility to work different shifts if needed
