Job purpose

The Borg Warner Arden campus offers two world class technical centers and a cutting-edge manufacturing facility that designs and produces turbos, fan, and fan drive components for the automotive industry. The Arden campus offers a multitude of career opportunities and is in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina.

The Warranty Supervisor leads the site warranty management process and serves as the site owner for warranty performance, field failure analysis, warranty cost reduction, customer warranty issue resolution, and field-risk reduction. This role provides cross-functional leadership across Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, Finance, Supply Chain, Program Management, and Customer-facing teams to identify failure trends, drive corrective actions, reduce warranty exposure, and improve product reliability.

The position is expected to build a proactive warranty culture focused on prevention, lessons learned, data-driven decision making, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement while supporting deployment of Borg Warner warranty governance, process standards, analytics, and capability development.

Key responsibilities

Warranty Management & Field Quality Lead the plant warranty management process and ensure effective execution of corporate, customer, and site warranty requirements.

Analyze customer warranty claims, returned parts, field failures, service data, teardown results, and warranty databases to identify emerging risks and repeat failure patterns.

Maintain visibility of open warranty issues, including top warranty concerns, field returns, warranty 8

Ds, corrective actions, and customer response status.

Drive reduction of warranty incidents / R/1000, repeat failures, and current or future customer field…
