Position Summary

The Senior Food Service Worker will work in the different aspects of preparing and delivering food to clients.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Cook and Kitchen Attendant staff
• Monitor and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations at alltimes
• Organize inventory, storage, and distribution of food items and supplies
• Help to plan menus, apportion ingredients, and use food surpluses
• Rotate stock items and restock kitchen forsubsequentshifts
• Ensure food prep area and kitchen are cleaned and sanitized at shiftend
• Must be willing tooperatecompanyvehicle
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Two years of experience as a Cookisrequired
• Must have a valid U.S.driver’s license and satisfactory driver record
• Demonstrated knowledge of food and catering trends, quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation required
• Serve Safe Certification preferred
• Effective oral and written communication skills with all levels of the organization
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time and multiple priorities to completion
• Problem solving skills with an analytical thought process
• Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment

Working Conditions

Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are Monday-Friday standard core hours, however some extended or weekend hours may be required.
