About the Role
We are seeking a dependable, hard‑working Line Cook to join our culinary team during the day shift (6:30 AM – 2:30 PM) at Timberlake’s Restaurant. This position plays an essential role in preparing dishes to exacting standards, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen, and supporting a positive guest dining experience.

Schedule

6:30 AM – 2:30 PM

Responsibilities
  • Prepare menu items according to recipes, portion standards, and chef instructions.
  • Set up and stock workstations with necessary supplies and ingredients.
  • Cook food items with consistency, accuracy, and efficiency.
  • Maintain presentation, temperature, and quality standards during service.
  • Ensure all workstations, equipment, and utensils are cleaned and sanitized.
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures (Serv Safe standards).
  • Monitor and minimize food waste.
  • Assist with receiving, labeling, and rotating food product deliveries.
  • Work closely with other cooks, prep staff, dishwashers, and front‑of‑house teams to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
  • Communicate any issues or shortages with supervisors promptly.
  • Be flexible and willing to assist with other duties as needed.
Qualifications
  • Passionate about cooking and committed to high‑quality food.
  • Dependable, punctual, and hardworking with a positive attitude.
  • Able to work well under pressure in a team environment.
  • Comfortable with repetition and maintaining consistent standards.
  • Previous kitchen experience required.
  • Understanding of basic cooking techniques, knife handling, and food safety standards.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods, bend, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a hot kitchen environment.
