This is a full‑time position. Primary responsibility is to take excellent care of our customers by satisfying each customer’s needs and exceeding their expectations. The role requires product knowledge, food preparation skills, sales ability, customer relations skills, and cooperation with fellow associates to create an incredible place to work and shop.

Responsibilities include preparing, processing, packaging, and stocking products according to Fresh Foods standards; providing customer service; cleaning work areas; unloading stock; and re‑loading salvage products per Fresh Foods standards.

• Personal skills
  : exceptional interpersonal skills and willingness to complete required training and work with the team to increase customer satisfaction and sales.
• Education and/or experience
  : high school diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Language skills
  : ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English; ability to write simple correspondence in English; ability to present information to customers and other English‑speaking associates.
• Mathematical skills
  : ability to add and subtract two‑digit numbers and perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement.
• Reasoning ability
  : apply common sense to carry out detailed but uncomplicated written or oral instructions and handle problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Certificates / licenses / registrations
  : completion of company training, including new hire orientation, food sanitation, customer service network, safety, food safety, and product knowledge.
• Physical demands
  : regular standing, walking, using hands to finger, handle, or feel; reaching with hands and arms; talking or hearing; tasting or smelling; climbing or balancing; stooping, kneeling, or crouching; lifting and/or moving up to 30 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds); and possessing clear vision, color, and depth perception.
