What You'll Do
  • Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures and following site‑specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem‑solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas to help deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious behavior.
  • Complete detailed reports and documentation related to security‑related incidents, observations, and patrol activities.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement and/or emergency personnel as needed during incidents or emergencies.
  • Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help deter potential disturbances and provide reassurance to staff and visitors.
  • Adhere to all company and client policies, including those related to the use of firearms and other security‑related equipment.
Minimum Requirements
  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • At least 6 months of armed security‑related, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
