As a Security Officer - Armed Healthcare Campus in Raeford, NC
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Your visible presence and professional interactions will contribute to a welcoming atmosphere, while you respond to situations as needed.

  • What You’ll Do
    • Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
    • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence at all times.
    • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential threats, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.
    • Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
    • Collaborate with healthcare staff and emergency personnel to support security-related needs and/or emergency response protocols.
    • Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
    • Remain alert and observant to help to deter potential risks and/or hazards within the healthcare location.
    Minimum Requirements
    • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
    • Must be at least 21 years of age.
    • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
    • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
    • Customer service experience is preferred.
    • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
    • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
    • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
    • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
    • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
    • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
    • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
    • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
