Job DescriptionAs a Security Guard - Armed Government Patrol in Tillery, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Armed Officer, where you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and remaining highly visible throughout government locations. This armed and driving post involves monitoring assigned areas, responding to incidents, and providing exceptional customer service and communication.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity.
- Monitor for unusual activity and report any security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Operate and maintain assigned equipment, including firearms, in accordance with company and client policies.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders as needed during incidents.
- Complete required reports and documentation accurately and promptly.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while representing Allied Universal at the location.
Minimum Requirements:
- An armed guard card or license is required.
- At least 6 months of armed security, law enforcement, and/or military experience is required.
- Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
