As a Security Officer – Armed Government Patrol in Manson, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a government location, where you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a strong, visible presence. • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner while maintaining a professional presence.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the assigned location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for unusual activity and report observations according to established protocols.
• Assist visitors, staff, and/or contractors with directions or information as needed in accordance with site guidelines.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and/or emergency personnel when required during incidents.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and/or patrols as required by Allied Universal and the location.
• Follow all Allied Universal and client‑specific protocols regarding the handling of firearms and other security‑related equipment.

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
