Marksman Security is hiring immediately for Part‑Time/FLEX Security Officers.

Security Officers $17.50 p/hr.

Shift Options — Must be available on Saturday & Sunday:

• 7:00 am – 3:00 pm
• 11:00 pm – 7:00 am

Weekend and holiday availability is required. FLEX hours on Monday‑Friday are accepted, but you must be available on Saturday & Sunday for one of the above shifts.

Must be able to respond to work assignments with little to no advance notice.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in security or customer‑service fields.

Must be reasonably physically fit and able to stand and walk for periods of time.

Location:

Toyota Battery Manufacturing Plant – Liberty, NC

• Acknowledge and greet all residents and guests in a prompt and courteous manner.
• Manage all guest/visitor access as needed and eject trespassers or violators from premises when deemed necessary.
• Verify credentials of incoming and outgoing individuals/vehicles.
• Document and maintain a log of visitors and notify residents of visitor arrival.
• Assist in protecting others and equipment while enforcing policies and procedures.
• Monitor and/or detect any suspicious behavior to assist in the prevention of vandalism, theft, and or other criminal behavior.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms.
• Patrol the perimeter (interior/exterior) to identify potential safety and security risks.
• Warn violators of infractions such as loitering, smoking, and/or possessing prohibited items.
• Respond to calls of distress, alarms, and/or emergencies such as fire, injuries or presence of unauthorized individuals by contacting local first responders.
• Identify and report any and all concerns (safety, security breaches, unusual circumstances) in a timely manner.
• Ensure accuracy and timely submission of required documentation (reports/documents).
• Ensure all rules/regulations are being enforced and followed.
• Other duties to be determined by management.

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• High school degree or equivalent.
• Professional demeanor and appearance.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Minimum of one year of customer‑service experience.
• Minimum of one year of security experience.
• Must be able to pass pre‑employment screening (background and drug).
• This position will require occasional crawling, crouching, climbing of stairs, kneeling, running, sitting, standing, stooping and walking for extended periods of time.
