As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Communications in Whitsett, NC
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Officer at a dynamic technology location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment through professional communication and customer service. You will document and report security-related activities while working collaboratively with site personnel.

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, common spaces, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures and notifying appropriate contacts.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and document security-related incidents, observations, and shift activities in required reports.
• Support a professional workplace environment by communicating clearly with site personnel and following Allied Universal and client site protocols.

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
