• Hourly Pay $30.00-$34.00 per hour, based on experience.
• Overtime paid after 40 hours per week

• Monday-Friday
• Work 11:00am-8:00pm; work until work is completed. Typically 10-12 hours per day.
• Schedule flexibility may be available based on candidate's needs.
• Work schedule may change based on business needs; must be flexible with work schedule.

• Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform preventative and as-needed maintenance of diesel trucks and electronic vehicles
• Properly operate the mobile service truck and attend to truck inventory
• Interpret and follow work orders and technical manuals
• Travel to locations to perform on-site diagnostics, repairs, and routine maintenance.
• Communicate effectively with management, providing them with detailed breakdowns of service requirements and costs.
• Maintain schedules and document completed preventative maintenance and repairs
• Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems
• Test repaired equipment for proper performance; ensure work meets manufacturer's specifications according to FMCSR (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations)
• Maintaining parts and yard organization (with direction from operations management) to ensure a clean and safe working environment.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a mechanic working on Medium to light duty trucks, required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working on air brakes, required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience managing preventative maintenance program, required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience managing preventative maintenance program on Electronic Vehicles preferred, will train.
• Willing to teach and train candidates with a highly motivated attitude.
• ASE Certification is preferred.
• Knowledge of air, electronic, braking, and suspension systems as well as general mechanical operation and/or light body repair
• Familiar with FHWA (Federal Highway Administration), and FMCSR (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations), BIT (Basic Inspection of Terminals) inspections
• High School Diploma or GED (Preferred)
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
• Candidate must provide his/her own tools
• Must have valid driver's license with no suspensions and/or revocations in connection with a moving violation within the past three (3) years. No CDL required.
