KILN FIREMAN at Pine Hall Brick
Location:
Winston-Salem, NC
- Ability to learn the full operation of the burning department and DLA
- Monitor kilns and make adjustments as needed.
- Conduct daily checks on equipment and repair or report to supervisor as needed.
- Learn the full operation of the automatic transfer cars.
- Ability to fill in for other department employees when needed.
- Basic computer skills.
- Prepare and submit daily reports.
- Perform daily brick quality tests.
- Perform other duties as outlined by management.
- Must be able to obtain forklift license.
- Ability to lift 20 lbs constantly and be able to lift 50 lbs occasionally.
- Ability to twist, stoop, bend and crawl.
- Ability to climb ladders, steps and be comfortable with heights.
- Hardhat and steel toe shoes required.
