As a General Construction Carpenter, you will support general construction division projects, including facility expansion, community-based construction, and electrical installation support.

• Perform general construction duties with a focus on carpentry.
• Support facility construction and community-based projects.
• Assist with electrical installations through related structural work.
• Contribute to HVAC installation assistance, concrete/light paving, plumbing/mechanical work, light equipment operation.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
• Collaborate with internal construction and electrical teams.
• Follow project timelines and contribute to high-quality project delivery.

• 4+ years of experience in commercial and/or residential construction or contracting.
• Significant expertise in residential carpentry and general construction techniques.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Must pass a mandatory pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Must live within approximately 30 minutes of our Spindale, NC headquarters.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

• Experience supporting/executing HVAC, plumbing, concrete, or mechanical installations.
• Light equipment operation experience.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Background in both residential and commercial construction environments.

• Must be able to lift 50+ pounds.
• Capable of working from ladders and scaffolding.
• Able to perform tasks involving reaching, squatting, kneeling, crouching, bending, stretching.
• Comfortable working overhead and in varied climate conditions.
• Must have good balance, coordination, depth perception, and physical stamina.
• Above all, must be able to safely perform the physical duties of the role.
