Vermeer All Roads in Colfax, NC is seeking a Heavy Equipment Road Tech to travel to customer sites and perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on Vermeer and other construction equipment. This is an independent, hands‑on role where you’ll take ownership of your work, providing timely, high‑quality repairs and excellent customer service in the field.

• Hourly pay: $25–$40 (based on experience)
• Production bonuses available

• Service, repair, and recondition Vermeer equipment as directed by the Service Manager
• Diagnose malfunctions in hydraulics, hydrostatic, and electrical systems
• Perform welding and fabrication work as needed
• Recommend and document appropriate repairs, including cost estimates
• Maintain accurate repair records and documentation
• Stay current with industry and technical advancements
• Communicate with the factory for technical support
• Perform other duties as assigned

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Hands‑on experience with hydraulics, hydrostatics, and electrical troubleshooting
• Welding experience required
• Ability to travel daily within the assigned territory
• Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills
• Positive attitude with the ability to multi‑task and prioritize effectively
