- Work Schedule
:
Either five work days with 8‑hour shifts or four work days with 10‑hour work shifts.

As a Water Plant Electrician
, you will play a key role in maintaining the electrical systems that power water treatment facilities and distribution system stations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assembling, installing, testing, and maintaining electrical circuits, breakers, motor control centers, fixtures, and equipment
- Diagnosing malfunctioning systems using schematics, manuals, prints, and test equipment
- Working with motors, pumps, transformers, analytical equipment, and wiring across a range of voltages
- Using the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to generate work requests, document repairs, and track parts and labor
- Procuring parts and materials through requisitions, procurement cards, or capital requests
- Following direction—whether verbal, written, or electronic—and working both independently and as part of a team
This role requires bending, stooping, crawling, kneeling, standing, climbing ladders, lifting up to 50 lbs., and working in noisy, dirty, or inclement environments.

This job is Non‑Exempt and is subject to the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA)
Minimum Qualifications:- High School Diploma / GED
- 4+ years of documented electrical experience
- Forklift license (or ability to obtain within 18 months of hire)
- Valid driver's license
- Microsoft Office experience
- NC Electrical License
- Previous experience working with or around water/wastewater equipment
